Help reading Network Map

Hello,

I'm having challenges deciphering the Network Map, and I haven't found any documentation yet that answers my questions. Looking at my radialOut2d map, I see

• Green nodes (EndDevices)
• Blue nodes (Routers)
• 1 Yellow node (Coordinator)

I see several arrows

• Green nodes with a green arrow pointing to a Router/Coordinator
• Blue nodes with a combination of colored arrows pointing in/out
• 1 Yellow node with a combination of colored arrows pointing in/out

Since arrows always travel from the green EndDevice nodes to a router/coordinator node, I've assumed the arrows always pointed in the direction a message could travel from a device back to the coordinator. But, what I'm seeing doesn't support that assumption.

I would expect

• Every router to have one red arrow pointing to it's parent.
• Every router has 0+ blue arrows pointing to it's siblings. So each router would have some blue arrows going out, and some others coming in.
• The Coordinator should have 1+ red arrows coming in from it's children.

But, what I' actually seeing are examples of

• Routers with a single incoming green arrow from an EndDevice, and a single blue arrow to another Router. The nodes details show no parent.
• Routers with multiple incoming blue arrows, but no outgoing arrows, and node details show no parent
• Coordinator with an incoming green arrow, an outgoing blue arrow, and an outgoing red arrow.

So, all this leads me to the following questions

• If blue arrows represent siblings, shouldn't they all be double-headed since traffic could travel in either direction?
• Since green arrows point from child to parent, shouldn't red arrows do the same?
• What is the significance of blue arrow direction? If the 2 nodes are siblings, shouldn't the arrows be double headed? I do have one pair of Routers with a double-headed arrow between them. What does that represent vs. the single headed arrows?
• If a router has all incoming sibling arrows, what does that mean?
• Assuming arrows point from child to parent, shouldn't the Coordinator have all incoming arrows?
• How can the Coordinator have a sibling if it is the root of the network?
