Hello! I am a Compose Multiplatform user and have been following the development of your framework, Nucleus. I recently tried the alpha version of 2.0 and was truly impressed by how you resolved so many native issues caused by AWT. Currently, I am using the stable 1.15.7 release in my project. I’m really looking forward to the official release of version 2.0. Thank you for your great work!

Thanks! One thing I noticed: rapidly resizing the ComposeWindowcauses brief white flickers along the window edges, as if the render lags behind WM resize events.
Much improved in 2.0 alpha—excited for the official release 👍

Yes, indeed, the fact that Compose draws directly into the native window without going through AWT fixes the latency we had during resizing.

But in my opinion, the most interesting improvements are faster startup time, since AWT is really very slow, reduced RAM usage, I measured about 40 MB less, touch and multitouch gesture support, native accessibility support on all platforms, and especially a new native view component that will allow native views to be displayed while overlaying Compose content.

It will no longer be necessary to use offscreen rendering to play videos. We will be able to have a real WebView, or even easily integrate a YouTube video player.

I'm really looking forward to the stable release of version 2.0. I've also noticed an issue with ComposeWindow: when I have several buttons that switch between different pages, rapid clicking causes one of the clicks to be missed/dropped. I'll attach a GIF screen recording to demonstrate this.

Are you using the Tao backend?

I'm not​ using Tao; this is with plain Compose Desktop.
