question: functional helpers + manual signatures

• move to functional helpers and drop the need for import { helper } from '@ember/component/helper';
• start adding signatures manually?

Yeah, should be possible to do that without the need to change any tests.

Tho, idk how much benefit there is in doing said work. Most of this library isn't so useful with gjs and gts.
