GraphQL Workflow Summary

The v0.2 private workflow uses local GraphQL-shaped fixtures with edges, node, cursor, and pageInfo structures to simulate cursor pagination without real Shopify API calls.

This public summary exists to explain the case-study direction only. It does not include GraphQL query templates, OAuth behavior, tokens, real store domains, client data, full mock fixtures, or production connector code.

What v0.2 demonstrates

  • a Shopify-style reporting workflow shaped around GraphQL connection pagination;
  • local cursor-style pagination across fake order pages;
  • normalized reporting outputs that keep the same client-facing deliverable shape as the earlier mock workflow;
  • validation and report notes that make pagination behavior visible in the handoff.

Why it matters

Shopify's current Admin API direction is GraphQL-first for many app and reporting use cases. A real implementation would need approved scopes, secure credentials, cursor pagination, retry behavior, rate-limit handling, and store-specific field mapping.

The public repository documents the workflow concept without turning it into a runnable connector.
