I used shortcuts in OpenBoard in some version that i dont remember. Recently i had to format my PC and downloaded the latest version and now i cant use the shortcuts anymore. Is anyone using shortcuts? I really need to use them because its more pratical for my online lessons. Someone help me pls.

The shortcuts have not changed much over years. Let me try to compile a list:

• Ctrl+P - Pen
• Ctrl+E - Eraser
• Ctrl+M - Marker
• Ctrl+F - Selector (Arrow)
• Ctrl+G - Laser Pointer
• Ctrl+J - Line
• Ctrl+K - Text
• Ctrl++ - Zoom in
• Ctrl+- - Zoom out
• Ctrl+0 - Zoom to 100%
• Ctrl+S - Toggle Snap to grid
• Ctrl+T - Toggle Tools
• Ctrl+B - Show Board
• Ctrl+W - Show Web Browser
• Ctrl+D - Show Documents
• Ctrl+Shift+H - Show Desktop
• Ctrl+H - Hide
• Ctrl+Z - Undo
• Ctrl+Y - Redo
• Ctrl+X - Cut
• Ctrl+C - Copy
• Ctrl+V - Paste
• 1 - Select color 1
• 2 - Select color 2
• 3 - Select color 3
• 4 - Select color 4
• 5 - Select color 5
• PgUp, arrow left, arrow up - Previous page
• PgDown, arrow right, arrow down - Next page
• Pos1 - First page
• End - Last page
• Ctrl+arrow - Move page
• Delete - Delete selected item
• Insert - Add new page after current page

Thanks a lot for this very useful list! Shortcuts make working with OpenBoard even faster ... ;-)

Additionally:

• arrow: go to previous/next page
• Insert: Insert new page after current page

What's different in my version of OpenBoard (1.7.3 on Windows-10):

• Ctrl+arrow: Move page

By the way: It would be a nice feature to see all these shortcuts in the program itself! (e.g. when you hover over an icon: in the tooltip - and/or as a list in "Settings" > "Tips and tricks")

where is the arrow in the keyboard? I'd like to use this 'Shift+arrow - Move page' but I don't know where the arrow is. ;(

Hello, On the new versions of Openboard the Shortcuts don't seem to work at all for me. Any ideas wh and how to fix? I'm using the newesr version of Openboard.

Thanks .. I am using Openboard also for its ability to switch between board and desktop (I have often to show some programs when running slides). I have come-up with the following list that can be handy but there is one thing that does not seem to work (1.7.7 on Mac) and is the CTRL-B shortcut that would be very handy for coming back to the board when in desktop mode. Any idea / suggestion?
Here is my list of handy shortcuts (CMD for Mac instead of CTRL):

Switching between board mode and desktop mode
Board to desktop: CTRL-SHIFT-H
Desktop to Board: click on icon (??)
Switching between draw and applications (when in desktop mode)
Draw to apps: CTRL-F
Apps to draw: CTRL-TAB CTRL-m (for marker) or CTRL-p (for pen)
Delete everything
when in board mode: CTRL-A Delete
