In SURFconext, we have three types of contact persons: admin, tech and support.
Currently, for all fields, both an email address and a URL (which often links to a ticket system) are permitted. During a system failure, we prefer not to direct users to a URL, but to an email address.
The proposal is to allow (functional) email addresses for technical contact persons. For admin and support, both a (functional) email address and a URL may be entered.
