What features are most wanted right now?

I am trying to plan what should be implemented next and I would like to have input from the users on what would be nice to have right now. I can then plan accordingly.

A bit sad to see that nobody interacts here, since I find this app very useful to check status when I'm not at home... anyways....

A great extension in my opinion would be the possibility to use a local, in-app SQlite database to save historical data. SQlite seems appropriate since that support be present on all Android devices. Not sure about iphones.

Not sure how that would work tho. As in, you would need to have the app in the foreground all the time. A more feasible way would be to save values when they come in through the websocket, but also not quite sure how that would improve things over just hosting a prometheus

I think the app would need to save current values at pre-defined intervals only, maybe with no smaller than 1 hour. It could run as a service but not use too much battery if it only becomes active once per hour. I only brought SQlite into the discussion because I'd like to avoid having to install another software and to allow the database to be on-device. Just throwing around ideas here....

Yes, but the problem is that there is no easy way to run stuff in the background like this on android. I would like to receive more feedback on this topic to know how to prioritize things, but also feel free to open up a pull request if you can :)

I have to admit I'm not a programmer, just a user with ideas. From what I see in other apps a service could be realized through permanent notification.
