Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that users of OpenParsec may have:


Q: How do I change my name/handle in OpenParsec?

A: There are two ways:

  1. . If you have a parsecrc.con file, you can open that in an editor and change the "name" line to whatever you like
  2. . You can press ~ at anytime to open the console and enter "/name <myname></myname>" to change your name. Example: "/name Fragme" changes it to Fragme.



Q: I cannot see or connect to any servers. What's up with that?

A: You are blocking outing ports for OpenParsec. Also, OpenParsec does a good amount of UDP communication. Make sure you adjust your firewall to allow the right traffic through.
