Chat2DB Wiki

Chat2DB is a database client and SQL workspace for developers, DBAs, analysts, and data teams. It combines database management, SQL development, data workflows, and AI-assisted tools.

This Wiki is the repository-level entry point for choosing an edition, starting Community, troubleshooting common problems, and contributing to the project. For full product tutorials, use the international documentation or the China documentation.

Choose an edition

Community

Source available, single-user, and local-first. Community includes the core database client, custom AI model configuration, and MCP support. It does not provide accounts, tenant isolation, team collaboration, or multi-user authorization boundaries.

Pro

The online personal edition. Pro adds official Chat2DB AI, cloud storage, an account, and multi-device access to the core database client.

Enterprise

The team and organization edition. Enterprise adds team datasources, shared assets, members and roles, permissions, approvals, audit capabilities, and organization data context and RAG.
