Disable I/O stat causes Chaos on Samsung-A14

I am using The Samsung A14. Specifically this model: SM-A145R(EUX)

I was testing out options and got to "Disable I/O Stat" and tried it out. Then decided to reboot once normally the second to recovery to work on something. After trying to enter recovery which is TWRP (personally confirmed functional) the Samsung Init Binary would completely Fail. Since it could not get I/O stats it simply decided that there were no partitions and couldnt even get to Printing "vbmeta" and "boot" in the corner which means its just dead stopping. This resulted in a permanent boot loop with no access to recovery (only Download Mode). I had to use Odin3 and entirely reflash the whole phone. It would be great to either put a disclaimer in the info box or Outright Blacklist the option on A145R and probably other Samsung A models too

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this :/ All actions with root can lead to some consequences. On the other hand, I haven't worked on L Speed for pretty long time, as I focus on new projects, Battery Guru and Network Guru. [image: image.png] If your device had developer options enabled, go into download mode and see if ADB recognises it at all. If so, try executing this, and see if it works for S in /sys/block/*

Thanks for the quick response. I'm sad to hear this isn't being actively developed anymore since it is genuinely a great project and one of the most complete Tweak Collection. For the SM-A145R the Download Mode is bugged and does not connect to adb.

I did have to entirely reflash to fix it so i think just stopping the use completely on Samsung Devices is the solutions
