Background/Challenge
This ticket is related to #58. The sociodem_date_collection field is required in the data model, but it is not collected by MOHCCN becuase they do not have any information on the date or year of when the participant joined the study. However, this field does not allow projects to submit missing or unknown values.
Decision
As discussed with Claude and Amirah from WG3, the proposed technical solution was agreed upon.
Actions required
Update to “sociodem_data collection” field as follow:
- Add the missing/unknown terms to the "Permissible Values" section: [“Missing - Unknown”, “Missing - Not collected”, “Missing - Not provided”, “Missing - Restricted access”]
Rationale:
This update will unblock MOHCCN and enable them to submit one of the missing terms since they do not have any data to submit for this required field.
