What

A high-volume pixellab batch to fill the visually-empty office/lab. All assets are
grounded in the locked style from docs/art/reviews/2026-07-17-overnight-sweep.md +
docs/art/PALETTE_AND_DOOM_INTENSITY.md: warm-grime base + heavy-outline heft +
deeper shadow, view-locked (straight-on/centered); muted teal-olive-slate palette with
warm amber as the only saturated accent; screens clearly powered/glowing.

Saved to art_source/pixellab_2026-07-19/ (tracked -- the review tool reads it from here).
See MANIFEST.md in that dir for full listing, generation params, and re-roll candidates.

Contents (133 PNGs)

  • 48 props (props/, transparent-bg map objects): desks/chairs/monitors/PCs/servers/
    printers/filing-cabinets/whiteboards/plants/kitchen/break-room/decor, in
scummy/decent/mega tiers where relevant. Includes a thematic doom-curve monitor.
  • 5 seamless Wang tilesets (tilesets/, png atlas + json metadata for Godot
autotiling): concrete/lino/carpet floors, scummy/decent walls. Done as tilesets, not
    map objects
-- fixes the prior floors/walls mistake called out in the sweep.
  • 10 characters (characters/, 8 rotation PNGs each): 8 humanoids (office workers of
varied look, founder, AI researcher, eccentric genius) + 2 quadruped cats (tabby, black).

Notes for review

  • One roll per subject; the "spares" are the tier/variant siblings. Weak/sparse rolls to
re-roll in the review tool (first candidates: desk_lamp, floor_lamp, exit_sign,
    office_phone, wall_decent tileset).
  • Reruns during generation: the 2 cats + eccentric_genius failed once ("heavy load") and
were refired; terrain-transition wall tilesets timed out server-side and were refired as
    seamless single-material walls.
  • ~96 pixellab generations spent (prepaid; balance 1591 -> 1495 remaining).

Do NOT merge -- for Pip's review.

…2026-07-19)

Fill the visually-empty office/lab with in-world pixel-art, generated via the
pixellab MCP and grounded in the locked style (warm-grime + heavy-outline heft +
deeper shadow, view-locked; muted teal-olive-slate palette, amber-only accent) from
the 2026-07-17 overnight sweep + PALETTE_AND_DOOM_INTENSITY.

- 48 office/lab props (map objects, transparent bg): desks/chairs/monitors/PCs/
  servers/printers/filing/whiteboards/plants/kitchen/break-room/decor, in
scummy/decent/mega tiers where relevant. Includes a doom-curve monitor.
- 5 seamless Wang tilesets (png atlas + json metadata): concrete/lino/carpet floors,
scummy/decent walls. (Floors/walls done as tilesets, not map objects -- fixes the
  prior mistake.)
- 10 characters (8 rotations each): 8 office workers/founder/researcher/genius +
  2 cats (tabby, black).

Saved to art_source/ (tracked) where the review tool picks them up. MANIFEST.md
lists everything + params + re-roll candidates. ~96 pixellab generations spent.
