Hosted Channel is a lightning channel protocol specification that describes a unique hosted channel type which enable easy and cost effective on boarding unto the Lightning network.
It is a Bitcoin community focused technology that aims to help advance the use of Bitcoin Lightning in Bitcoin communities. Hosted channels are unique because users can open anonymous custodial channels without prior liquidity commitment.
