Port library to Polly v8?

Would be nice if this great contribution library would be ported to v8 resilience pipelines. Any chances?

I am wondering how does this library work when it has no dependency with Polly library at all : https://www.nuget.org/packages/Polly.Contrib.WaitAndRetry#dependencies-body-tab
