Poly Metrics extension respects your privacy. This extension:

  • Local Storage Only: All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage API
  • No Data Transmission: The extension does not send any data to external servers
  • No User Tracking: We do not track your browsing behavior or collect analytics

📦 Data Stored Locally:

The extension stores the following data only on your device:

  1. Settings Data:

    • Tax rate preferences
    • Currency preferences and exchange rates
    • Default settings

  2. Bookmarks:

    • Product page bookmarks you save
    • Category organization for bookmarks

  3. Quick Links:

    • Quick links you create for product pages

  4. UI Preferences:

    • Toggle states for collapsible sections
    • Panel open/closed states

❌ What We Don't Do:

  • We do NOT collect personal information
  • We do NOT send data to any server
  • We do NOT track your browsing history
  • We do NOT share data with third parties
  • We do NOT use analytics or tracking services

Permissions Used

The extension requests the following permissions:

  • storage: To save your settings, bookmarks, and preferences locally on your device
  • tabs: To open the settings page in a new tab when needed

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data.

Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API. No data leaves your device.
