Description
I usually use NetNewsWire on macOS in full-screen mode, where the app occupies its own Space in Mission Control.
When NetNewsWire is relaunched, it does not restore that full-screen state. This happens after restarting the Mac and also after manually quitting NetNewsWire with Cmd+Q and opening it again.
Instead of reopening full screen, NetNewsWire always opens as a small window positioned in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
This happens whether on my MacBook's screen or a connected 5K monitor.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open NetNewsWire on macOS.
- Put the main window into macOS full-screen mode.
- Quit NetNewsWire with Cmd+Q, or restart the Mac and reopen NetNewsWire.
- Observe the window state after launch.
Expected Result
NetNewsWire should reopen in the same full-screen Space, or at least restore the previous window size and position.
Actual Result
NetNewsWire opens as a small normal window in the bottom-left corner of the display.
Environment
- NetNewsWire version: 7.1.1 (Build 7108
- macOS version: Tahoe 26.5.2 (25F84)
- Mac model: MacBook Pro 14-inch, 2021
- System setting “Close windows when quitting an application”: Off
