In certain use cases it would (at least for me, but for sure also for the "silence enthusiasts") be nice if there would be an implementation ( either directly instead of temperature or a toggle) to ramp down fan speed when cpu/gpu usage dropped to a certain value (i.E. GPU intensive task, high usage/temp, exiting the task, x-second delay, ramp down fans even if temperature would still have higher fan value, see illustration). Yes it would keep the temperatures higher after exiting the intensive task and has to rely on proper user implementation, but it would be perfect for prioritizing silence. My thought process was: if there is no significant Thermal energy added to the cooling loop and idle set speed is enough to cool it down, even if it takes longer, there is no immediate need to keep the fans running at high(er) speeds
