This plugin encourages self-obtained resources. The only items allowed to be traded are items that can be equipped in an armour or weapon slot, with a few niche exceptions. Resources cannot be traded, bought on the Grand Exchange, or picked up off the ground.
The game has 17 skills that often feel useless if you're a main. Playing with this enabled encourages using those skills — just as you would on an ironman — without the burden of going dry on weapons and armour. Similar to the way many of us played in the early days of RuneScape.
I highly recommend cleaning out your bank of any resources you already have and starting fresh if you decide to use this plugin. It is tedious but highly rewarding. Right now it operates on an honour system — you need the discipline not to turn the plugin off just to get around restrictions.
- All resources must be self-obtained
- You can buy weapons and armour on the Grand Exchange
- You can trade weapons and armour with other players
- You cannot buy resources on the Grand Exchange
- You cannot receive resources through player trades
- You cannot pick up resources dropped by other players
- NPC shops can be toggled on or off in settings
- Grand Exchange — resource items are greyed out in search and cannot be selected
- Player Trades — Accept button is blocked if the other player's offer contains resources
- Ground Items — Take option is silently removed for resources dropped by other players
- NPC Shops — Buying from shops can be toggled on or off - you may need to toggle this on for certain items
- Streak Tracker — Tracks how long the plugin has been continuously enabled. Disabling the plugin resets your current streak and permanently increments your disable count
- Customisation — Choose your sidebar icon, toggle sounds and messages
