The deduplication window uses ROW_NUMBER() partitioned by transaction_id and also ordered only by transaction_id, so every duplicate in a partition is tied and SQL Server can pick an arbitrary row based on execution plan or storage order. Because WHERE _row_flag = 1 keeps just one row, duplicates with differing values (for example different data_source) can produce non-reproducible outputs and inconsistent downstream metrics across runs. Use a deterministic tiebreaker column (such as last_modified_ts or explicit source-priority logic) in the ORDER BY.

Remove generated virtualenv artifacts from version control

This commit tracks the local venv/ environment (including binaries and compiled packages), and the config embeds a machine-specific path (/home/ritik/...). Committing environment artifacts makes the repository large and noisy, and these files are not portable across developers/CI or OS/Python variants, which hurts maintainability and reproducibility. Keep venv/ untracked and regenerate it per environment.
