According to https://community.progress.com/s/article/client-crashes-on-compile-when-xref-xml-and-string-xml-are-used this should be fixed in 11.7.6 and 12.2 so perhaps this warning can be removed.

Edit: as annecdotal evidence, just done a full compile of a large project and had no crashes...

I plan to release a last version of PCT that will include OE 11.7 r-code. The message can be removed as soon as this version is released.
