Roo Code has no support of newly released claude opus 4.7 via Amazon Bedrock provider. The model Id is anthropic.claude-opus-4-7.

I've analyzed this issue and here's my proposed implementation plan:

The codebase already supports Claude Opus 4.6 via Bedrock. Adding Opus 4.7 follows the same pattern. However, I need clarification on a few details before proceeding:

Questions:

1. Exact Bedrock model ID - The issue mentions anthropic.claude-opus-4-7, but looking at existing patterns in the codebase, Bedrock model IDs follow formats like anthropic.claude-opus-4-6-v1 or anthropic.claude-opus-4-5-20251101-v1:0. Could you confirm the exact model ID as shown in the AWS Bedrock console? (e.g., anthropic.claude-opus-4-7-v1 or anthropic.claude-opus-4-7-YYYYMMDD-v1:0?)

2. Pricing - Do you have the Bedrock pricing details for this model (input/output price per million tokens, cache read/write prices)?

3. Capabilities - Does this model support:

   • Extended context (1M tokens with beta flag)?
   • Reasoning budget / extended thinking?
   • Image inputs?

Proposed changes (once details are confirmed):

1. Add model entry to packages/types/src/providers/bedrock.ts in the bedrockModels object
2. Add to BEDROCK_1M_CONTEXT_MODEL_IDS array (if 1M context is supported)
3. Add to BEDROCK_GLOBAL_INFERENCE_MODEL_IDS array (if cross-region inference is supported)
4. Add corresponding Anthropic API model entry in packages/types/src/providers/anthropic.ts (if not already present)
5. Update src/api/providers/anthropic.ts switch cases for token output handling
6. Add Vertex AI entry in packages/types/src/providers/vertex.ts (if applicable)
7. Update OpenRouter model mapping in src/api/providers/fetchers/openrouter.ts
8. Add tests for the new model

2. Here is the pricing: https://aws.amazon.com/bedrock/pricing/

3. The default context window of opus 4.7 is 1M, the same as opus 4.6.

For reasoning budget or extended thinking, I wasn't able to find Amazon bedrock documentation. But from anthropic documentation, the API contract changed: https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/build-with-claude/extended-thinking

It supports image inputs.
