Deprecation since PHP 8.2 for creation of dynamic properties

That looks like an easy fix, want to put in a PR for it.

@yphoenix as far as I can tell that _paths property isn't referenced anywhere else and has no effect - I think it was moved to Settings eons ago? I guess a fix would be good, but it should mark the method @deprecated at the same time. @Unlik you might want to have a look at the code that's calling it: I don't think it's doing anything.

Not that I'm a maintainer or anything, just a user who doesn't see the same problem.
