Extending Delivered Apps Using Adaptation Extensions

Key users and developers can adapt the UI to extend and configure applications in SAP Fiori elements for OData V4.

Context

Key users can adapt applications at runtime by changing the UI from the initial state of the app to a personalized view for end users. In the User Menu, key users can choose Adapt UI and change the user interface of SAP Fiori apps.

Developers can extend applications based on SAP Fiori elements by using the Adaptation Editor in SAP Business Application Studio. It allows you to create adaptation projects on top of delivered apps.

Note:

This procedure is relevant only for list report pages, object pages, overview pages, and analytical list pages.

The flexible column layout is not supported by the Adaptation Editor.
