User Privacy

  • The system stores user-generated 3D objects, project data, and version histories.
  • All uploads are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS and stored securely on the backend.
  • Only authorized collaborators will have access to project data.
  • We will clearly communicate what data is stored and who can access it to maintain transparency.

Collaboration and Attribution

  • Collaboration in shared projects can cause authorship or credit disputes.
  • Every commit includes the author’s username, timestamp, and object-level details to ensure accountability.
  • This version history promotes fairness, clear authorship recognition, and team transparency.

Misuse and Harm Prevention

  • Users could misuse the platform by uploading copyrighted, harmful, or inappropriate content.
  • To prevent this, we will:
    • Include a terms of service that prohibits illegal or harmful uploads.
    • Implement reporting and removal mechanisms for misuse.
    • Log actions to identify and block repeated offenders.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

  • Ethical software must be accessible to all users.
  • Our web dashboard and Blender add-on will:
    • Follow accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
    • Use proper contrast, ARIA labels, and keyboard navigation.
    • Maintain a clean, simple UI suitable for a wide range of users.
