Configurable Versioning

Provide an option to set the VideoIPath API version and get the drivers of the selected version including intellisense & validation.

Check if the configured version matches with the actual API version.

Also check, if the JSON schema matches the one from the API and show the user the diffs it does not match.

Approach

Currently, we have two concepts in mind that might fit:

• PoC: Version parameter in VideoIPathApp and resolving via overloads #26
• PoC: Version as pip install parameter that builds the driver models based on the JSON schema at install time #27

We first build PoCs of the viable concepts to see what works best with a relatively good effort

It seems that we have to go with approach #26 since the other one does not work well and would require many hacky workarounds.

But we'll discuss this on friday and decide how to move on

We decided to go with neither of the PoC approaches. They're either technically not feasible or increase the code complexity and cost of maintainability a lot.

Instead, we're going for a compromise on DX: The package provides a script with that you can manually change the API version. It's not perfect but the approach is simple to implement and will work for the use-cases of this library. The version is not something that necessarily needs to be configured dynamically in code, so this will for now.
