You can still use a quit link (and e.g. automatically redirect to it at the end of an exam), SEB will then correctly terminate the server session and itself. @anhefti Are there any other ways the above scenario could already be resolved with the current versions of SEB and SEB Server? |

Hi there,
we are already using SEB client with Moodle for a couple of years and are now looking into using the SEB server to scale up the use of SEB within our organisation.
The thing we are looking to is the use of a VDI solution (Citrix, Parallels) to ensure a completely controlled environment for certain types of exams. The setup and startup is quite easy in SEB server so we are enthousiast to use this combination.
The problem we are running into is at the end of the exam. When a student is ready in the VDI we have no idea how to send a quit command to the SEB shell (something like the quit link with quizzes in Moodle). Closing from the SEB server interface would be difficult because the exam supervisor is walking around in the room. So an automated kind of way would be preferrable.
Does anyone have experience or good advice on this one?
