No, there is no portable version and most likely there won't be any in the foreseeable future. Please note furthermore that there is no official release version 3.11, these are (old) development builds which should never be used in production! |

Hello,
We are currently using Safe Exam Browser version 3.11.0.884 successfully, particularly in combination with assistive tools such as Lexibar and WordQ 5, which work perfectly in our environment.
However, we are facing a significant challenge when it comes to deploying SEB on a large number of workstations. Some computers have not been connected to our network for several months. To address this constraint, we distribute the exam and configuration files via a USB flash drive, which works well in offline mode.
In this context, we would like to know if there is a portable version of Safe Exam Browser (SEB) that can be run directly from a USB drive, without requiring a local installation on each workstation. This would greatly simplify our deployment process and provide better autonomy for machines that are not connected to the network.
If an official portable version is not available, could you recommend any best practices for facilitating large-scale offline deployment in this type of environment?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
