Runtime Integrity Error with Version 3.10.2

Describe the Bug
SEB loads but won't open and recommends checking the logs. Logs mention compromised runtime integrity .

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start exam with SEB as usual.
2. Wait SEB to load.
3. Get usual error window about "Check logs"...

Expected Behavior
SEB should fully load.

Screenshots

Version Information

• OS: Windows 11 (sorry forgot to check version)
• SEB-Version SEB 3.10.2

Additional Context
There is only the "Runtime" log file. No Client log file.
Reinstalling 3.10.2 didn't fix the issue
Downgrading to version 3.10.1 fixed the issue.

Looks like the new security checks in SEB 3.10.2 report false positives on some machines. In our testing we didn't observe that, but we only have a finite (small) number of testing devices.

Please uninstall SEB 3.10.2 and then install SEB 3.10.1 (download installer EXE/see all assets) until we can resolve this issue.

Could it be related to language settings?
I notice that the log files say "System language is 'nl', trying to load data..." and "System language is 'de', trying to load data..."

That is at least a lead, maybe it could have something to do with the issue. We will install Dutch as system language (or do we have to set Netherlands as country?) and test if we can reproduce it.

I was wondering if the Windows Edition could cause the issue. Do you know, which one was used?

According to the log files posted here one is 10.0.22631.0 = Win11-23H2 and the others are 10.0.26200.0 = Win11-25H2

About the language and region settings: We are located in Belgium.
--> So most likely, only the system language is needed to be set to NL for your tests.
But the student who notified us of the issue did have an "unrelated" question about her keyboard layout and already tried different settings. So I'm not sure her location was set to Belgium. She might have set it to something different. She had a Qwerty-keyboard layout, which is uncommon for Belgium and more common in the Netherlands.

Thanks for the report and information, we're investigating the issue with high priority. @ThomasL-AP Could you please elaborate on your exact situation: Are you running bring-your-own device (BYOD) scenarios or only managed devices which are completely under your control?

The error in and of itself could also indicate an attempt of utilizing cheating tools during an exam, hence we need to know exactly under which circumstances the issue arises and whether it is indeed a false-positive detection.

They are BYOD.
Users are students. We don't manage their devices and students are mostly free to choose brand and type of laptop they buy.

Thanks for the information. This then however could indicate cheating attempts and not necessarily an error resp. false-positive in SEB. Are you confident that the affected students were not trying to cheat, or was it that the majority of students had the issue?
