Guide: Game Progression

This guide will guide you through beating the game.

It is recommended to choose a class, as there are special armors that benefit each class. There are three classes in Meadow Guarder. Melee, Ranged, and Mage. Each class has strengths and weaknesses, like melee can tank many bosses, but melee is bad for farming. Ranged is pretty good at bosses and farming, and mage excels at farming but needs to recharge mana during boss fights.

First off, you should equip the simple wooden weapon of your class. Then, you will want to get a decent weapon. Try to get a weapon of simple golden tier. You are now ready for the first few quests. First of all, do Missing Person, then Weird Tower, then Clear River. If you are a tank melee, try to get at least 13 / 27 defense.

You are now ready for the Red Bird battle. For a more in depth guide, check the Guide: Red Bird.

After defeating Red Bird, you should challenge Lightning Lizard. Make sure to equip your Fire Crystal. For a in depth guide, check the Guide: Lightning Lizard.

After defeating Lightning Lizard, you can now use the Lilypad Temple Room 1 waypoint. In there you can get great weapons, armor, and equips.

Possessed Spirit will be your next boss. First, head to The Graveyard. In there you can farm Lost Spirits, which can give great weapons and equips. Lost Spirits also drop Orange Fish, which is needed to summon Possessed Spirit. For a in depth guide on Possessed Spirit, check Guide: Possessed Spirit.

Possessed Spirit can drop Green Fish, which is needed to summon Plantera. Plantera can drop great weapons and equips for all classes, and the Skull of Death which is used to summon the Boss Rush.

After defeating the Boss Rush, you beat Meadow Guarder!
