Gaming on Linux attracts people from many backgrounds and experience levels. When participating in technical discussions:
- Explain jargon when first used, especially in issues and documentation
- Provide context for distribution-specific behaviors
- Avoid assuming knowledge of specific tools, desktops, or configurations
- Welcome questions from beginners — there are no dumb questions
- Remember that English may not be every contributor's first language
