  • Logging system: what to force console pop up for. Only errors (current) or also warnings?
  • What Names need to be added to the contributors list? the collaborators list?
  • Do we need a new splash screen for 6.0? Is anyone willing and able do to it? and do we keep logos? do we need to add some if so?

    • Windows and Ubuntu are now supported in 6.0
    • Mac is still an issue. It works in developer environments but not yet reliably in the installer so 6.0 will be using old method for mac
    • Should we close https://github.com/SasView/sasview/pull/2731? which is the same thing against main I think?
• Release 6.0.0 now in code freeze. Full release for summer
  • No new PR against 6.0.0 except
    • documentation
    • Fixes to bugs introduced in 6.0.0
  • We need to finalize approval for ~ two more PR https://github.com/SasView/sasview/wiki/v6.0.0
  • We need final cleanup for beta asap
    • update ALL locations containing year and version
    • a prelim list of what's changed
  • Need to test - any new bugs caught should be priority for fixing
