I worked a bit with the COMBINE Archive web interface and I am struggling with the slider :)
Sometimes, when I want to add a new folder, for example, I actually just want to select a particular folder to then create a subfolder for it - it is quite annoying to slide over to the meta-data insttead ;-)
I have no solution at hand, but maybe we could discuss the slider function at some point.

Granted. The slider is suboptimal.
Maybe we should thing about a redesign of the ui. This would open the possibility of using Bootstrap (same ui framework used in m2cat:wiki) to easily enable responsive design.
