Blame fails to run with "Unable to blame current line. Unable to get blame information for line."

I'm on Git blame 13.0.1, VS Code 1.116.0

The extension is unable to blame code, and shows nothing in the status bar.

Output seems to indicate the blame itself is running properly:

"/opt/homebrew/bin/git blame -C --incremental -- <file>" in <dir>
Blamed "<file>"

but when i attempt to run Git blame: Show quick info it logs:

Unable to blame current line. Unable to get blame information for line.

Hey. Thanks for the bug report.

I've been re-writing a bunch surrounding this and I have a pre-release build you can test and report if the issue is resolved.

It could also be that you have selected a non-document editor (like a terminal or a web-view) before running the command. This will not work as the extension can't know what line it should provide blame information for.

i'm getting an error popup with:

Cannot find module '<...>/.vscode/extensions/waderyan.gitblame-13.0.2-pre/out/gitblame.addToolUrlToClipboard-ONGRERGR.js' imported from <...>/.vscode/extensions/waderyan.gitblame-13.0.2-pre/out/index.js

for the various commands. i ran Install from VSIX in the extensions tab to get this loaded

Thanks for getting back. I made some changes to the build system but forgot to update the .vscodeignore-file. This version should be able to execute commands: 13.0.2-pre2.zip
