How do you change ContentType column formatting? (Supported column types)

I see that the ContentType column is supported, under the Supported column types header, but haven't been able to figure out how in SharePoint Online. Do you have any idea how? I've looked directly in the library, in the library settings, in the site content types and in the SharePoint admin center term store and can't find the option.

Also, I noticed that Filename in document libraries is listed as not supported, but it might be worth updating the wording to clarify that it can only be formatted from within the library (not within library settings).
