This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
This application is a GitLab access control that checks for access to groups and projects within a specified top-level group, outputting detailed user information and membership levels.
Created for Apploud.
In the app you can chose from various methods of search, which document my approach to the problem, iterating and improving the code as I went along.
From DFS approch (before fully reading through GitLab API docs), which traverses the tree and collects all the users , to getAllGroupsAndProjectsDescendantV3 using concurrent requests to speed up the process and /groups/:groupID/projects?include_subgroups=true to fetch all projects in the group and its subgroups in one request.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
