Instead of displaying a list of news on the landing page, display a list of release notes.
The reason for the change is that what was being provided as "news" was really a collection of user guide articles mixed with web client release notes. The selection of topics provided in the user guide articles appears to be arbitrary. The use of the "news" to provide release notes for the web client is a better fit. So the code was changed to pull release notes for both the web client and the server and display them in reverse chronological order (latest on top).
