The SmartThings API can be used to send Notifications to individual users of your SmartThings enabled device. Notifications are a part of your Device Profile as you can see here.
Functions
create - Sends a push notification to mobile apps belonging to the location. Requires the data for the notification request. If the client has been configured with a location ID, it can be omitted from this request.
