How to reproduce

  1. Make a mixed filament with 33%+33%+34% ratio of three different colors
  2. Paint an object with SML and full domain turned on
  3. Slice with 0.24 mm layer height and look at the layers perpendicularly

Actual results

  1. The color stack for the 3-color blend does not follow a regular pattern, which can be detrimental to the blending illusion. In this example, the color order repeats every 13 layers instead of every 3 layers.
Image

The cubes are:

  1. a solid color
  2. a 1:1:1 mix of 3 colors
  3. a 2:1 mix of 2 colors

Expected results

  1. The color stack should repeat in as few layers as possible. In the case of 3 colors, every 3 layers.
