This document summarizes the changes made to ensure GPUBench compiles and runs correctly on Windows with MinGW compiler tools.
Previous Code:
set(CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS "${CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS} -g")Issue: Hard-coded GCC-specific debug flag. While MinGW uses GCC and would accept this, it's not best practice for cross-platform builds.
Solution: Removed the hard-coded flag and added proper build type defaults:

The code already handles paths correctly:
- CMake uses forward slashes internally
std::filesystemautomatically converts to native separators
- Git should be configured to handle line endings properly
- MinGW handles both CRLF and LF line endings
- Windows file system is case-insensitive by default
- Code doesn't rely on case-sensitive paths
