Topic: Needle insertion for retina surgery

I am doing a project targeting to simulate a needle is inserted into the eyeball and also then retinal.

According to the description, is that true that this plugin can be used to simulate the needle collision model while the eyeball model and retinal model are trivial ones?

Also I am working on SOFA19 (prebuilt version), can I directly install this plugin and "add it" in the sofa interface?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, you can use the plugin for this purpose. The only problem is the fact that we don't have the plugin version for SOFA 19.
