I must be completely stupid. I can't figure out how to compile it.I move these sources to source-sdk-2013 I try to prepare them there through vpc.exe but either he nothing good comes out of it. Can you tell me where to dig? now vpc.exe endlessly parses hlmv.vpc =(

vpc.exe quest has passed. somehow having understood where to throw files. however it is still not clear how to start compiling. vc2022 constantly finds some errors.

I've tried everything. I can't get hold of the old version of visual studio, the new one won't compile in any way, constant errors here and there. and all it takes is a simple (but extremely important) functionality to add.

I haven’t checked if this still works for the recent update to the 2013 sdk. Regardless, it’s very hard to help without seeing the error messages you’re getting

I've been struggling for a few days with the win installation and trying to compile this in visualstudio. if you're interested in helping, I can upload a video of my attempts. I have little experience in all this, but due to lack of access to “old IDEs” that Microsoft has carefully hidden, I couldn't even just compile this very* outdated code. oh those stories about abandoning old windows, etc.
By chance I found a concerned person who helped me with exe memory analysis to achieve the required functionality from the program. As I understood actual hlmv sources are now closed and are not shared at all.

Perhaps* the result of this “hack” will also be posted on github as a binary file.
