Using Custom Data

Hi,
First, thanks for the great work and for the fact that you have provided the code for it to be replicated.
I have a quick question: as I have my own street view images (not panoramas) and my own segmentation that extracts vegetation, can use this data to calculate the GVI? do my images need to have a NIR band, or that is actually ensembled with RGB-NIR orthophotos? I can always generate a separate NDVI raster.

Hi,
You can use your own street-view images; there is no need for the NIR band. You just need to modify the code to link the folder to the segmentation code so the system knows where to find the images. Our approach is based on segmentation of green pixels from street-level images, so you do not need any orthophotos. Let us know if you have more questions.
