The languages needs to be made by a native speaker... you can probably take the English file and ask an AI to translate to Dutch: https://github.com/SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit/blob/main/src/UI/Assets/Languages/English.json What plugin do you miss? |

Hi Nikolaj,
AI is our answer. See atached file.
One foodnote: moving the json file to the Languages folder of SE 5.0.0
BETA13 results in a crash when i run SE 5.0.0B13 (Linux64 Tarball
version) and select Dutch as the UI language.
The flatpak does not pickup the json-file at all.
Regarding plugins... I just need the option to import plugins like i
did on SE 4.08 for example.
Regards,
Evert
I am using SE 5.0.0 BETA13, and i miss basicly the option to import

But... some review/test would be required
What plugin do you miss?

You need to attach the file directly on Github (mail attachments are nut supported)
SE 4.x plugins will not work... what do you need exactly? |

spell check from Microsoft Word, AmericanToBritish, and others... but for me "WordSpellCheck" it is essential. |

@niksedk It doesn't detect any spelling errors, apart from a few that I deliberately made to test it. Not work for now in Beta 14 ;)

I think there should be an easier way to make English forced subtitles using whisper look for non-English parts and convert them to English and place just the translated words in the subtitle edit, so far it is a very long process of convert whole movie using speech to text with the convert to English checked off then going in and deleting the English parts from the movie. or is there a way to do this don't see one though. |
