How to merge into an existing subtitle file?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but what I'd do is go into source view (via keyboard shortcut, F2 by default), go to the end of the file and paste the bit you want to add. That is, copy it from a different file first (an actual chunk of subtitles, not just text). Then click OK. In the grid, you should now have time codes that look e.g. like this, the first three from later in the file and the rest from earlier:

Now, use Tools->Sort subtitles. Select Show, make sure Ascending is checked, and click Add and then OK.
The time codes should now look like this:

Which is to say, in actual chronological order.

For the part before the sorting, you could probably also use Tools->Join subtitles, with Keep time codes selected.

重複している場合は、同期補正を使って処理します……実のところ、これはあくまで一例に過ぎません 多くの場合、別の字幕ファイルを追加するのは、歌の歌詞の字幕であることが多いのです。
