Hello. I am a visually impaired user who has been using Subtitle Edit for a long time to create and edit subtitles. I rely entirely on a screen reader to operate my computer.
In the v4.x versions, I was able to access most menus with a screen reader. However, after updating to the v5.0 beta, the application has become completely unusable with a screen reader. I can no longer perform even the basic tasks that worked without any issues in v4.x.
Please consider adding screen reader accessibility support to v5.0.
Subtitle Edit is truly the best tool of its kind. I am always grateful for your dedication to developing such an application as open source. The fact that v4.x was fully usable with a screen reader meant a great deal to me and other visually impaired users who work with subtitles. I sincerely hope that accessibility in v5.0 can be restored to its previous level.
I would be more than happy to participate in testing if any accessibility-related improvements are made. Thank you.
