MultiExodus is 100% open source. Every line of code is publicly available in this repository and can be reviewed, audited, or modified by anyone.
- ❌ Zero obfuscation
- ❌ Zero telemetry
- ❌ Zero hidden network requests
- ❌ Zero data collection
MultiExodus never reads, stores, transmits, or processes your seed phrase.
When you add or restore a wallet:
- 🤝 The seed phrase is entered directly into Exodus
- 🔒 The Exodus recovery UI handles everything
- 🔔 MultiExodus only triggers Exodus built-in recovery mode
- 💡 All cryptographic operations are performed by Exodus itself
👉 MultiExodus does not intercept keystrokes, memory, clipboard data, or wallet contents.
MultiExodus only works with wallet files on your local machine:
- ©️ Copying wallet folders
- 📝 Renaming folders
- 📩 Backing up existing wallets
- 📊 Organizing wallets into separate directories
- 🔨 Loading a selected wallet into Exodus by replacing the active wallet folder
If enabled, wallet metadata (names, notes, tags, images) can be encrypted locally using AES-256.
- 🔐 Encryption happens on your machine
- 👁️ The key never leaves your system
- ❌ Nothing is uploaded or shared
- ❌ Zero connection to Exodus servers
- ❌ Zero communication with blockchains
- ❌ Zero data sent to third parties
- ❌ Zero included trackers or analytics
The only optional external connections are:
- 🐈 GitHub ➔ Checking for Updates (can be disabled)
- 🌐 Discord RPC ➔ Showing activity Status (can be disabled)
- 🔨 Control when wallets are loaded or deleted
- ❗ See confirmation prompts before destructive actions
- 👑 Keep full ownership of your Exodus installation and files
- 🗑️ Uninstall MultiExodus at any time without affecting Exodus itself or any Wallets
- 🔓 Open source and auditable
- 🔒 Zero access to seed phrases or private keys
- 💻 Local-only file operations
- 🧠 Exodus handles all cryptography
- 🛑 No tracking, no telemetry, no hidden behavior
If you don’t trust it — read the code, build it yourself, or don't use it.
That's the point of open source.
