In #4 (comment), @phwissmann suggests using a typed client for calls to scicat. This would require a Go SDK for SciCat, something already requested in SciCatProject/backend#1412. Using an officially SciCat SDK will allow compile-time checking of scicat types and future-proof against possible SciCat API changes.
