In standalone Mednafen, a palette file (pce.pal) can be loaded automatically (placed in the palette folder) to tweak color output. This is generally used to more authentically portray how colors appeared via composite video.
Games used specific colors for gradients and detailing which are lost or really difficult to see via RGB output.
Mesen2 and Ares both have options to use a custom palette/s too, it would be great if BizHawk could implement this option too (or if it's already included could someone tell me how to use it?)
