Rebasing the DOSBox-X core to: joncampbell123/dosbox-x@37dd005

I believe in John, but wouldn't it better to rebase upon the recent release instead? There is a tiny chance that DOSBox-X is now in the middle of being fixed of some newly created bugs.

You're right, I should rebase to an official release. However, instead of reverting commits after the last one, I rather wait until the next release and forward-apply those. He's release pretty often anyway

A new version has been released. However, the recently acknowledged problem of Windows 9x games malfunctioning because of improper MMX exception handling (as a historical method to share registers between tasks) appeared to be out of scope of it. Yesterday, a fix came along which fixes broken 3D models in The Sims with core=normal, but other problems popped up.

I think rebasing makes more sense near the release of BizHawk 2.11.2 to catch more fixes.

I've re-rebased to the latest release

https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/tree/dosbox-x-v2026.06.02

I would suggest merging this update. I can do another later on when we're about to release the next version, but this PR can help test the latest features (Windows XP?) and will make it easier for me to rebase later.
