Domain Zone records with invalid characters prevents editing through web UI

We recently imported DNS records from different software, we had a couple of records that were invalid (using comma's instead of periods) in the DNS record, attempting to resolve them manually through the web UI results in Error! Invalid domain name []: invalid character [44] was found. We exported the DNS zone and manually edited and then reimported.

Please share the complete error log that you see in the Logs section on the admin panel. Also, please share a record example which I can use to reproduce the issue.

Not sure how to best reproduce this, with SimpleDNS we had a record ending example,com instead of example.com - Technitium will happily take an AXFR containing invalid .tld's - Was not intended to have that record on SimpleDNS but for some reason resolved correctly till we cut over. I looked in logs and it looks like they've unfortunately rolled over, but I do have screenshots. - Cannot edit invalidly formatted records in the web UI, but can export the zone, manually fix the records in question and then reimport to fix.

Thanks for the details. It is difficult to replicate the issue without some examples and error logs. Do let me know if you find some steps to reproduce it.
